Operation Santa allows individuals to “adopt” letters written by children in need, fulfilling their holiday wishes by purchasing gifts they’ve requested. Heritage Office Suites will set up a holiday tree adorned with letters from children, allowing members to select a letter and make a child’s wish come true.
Registration for “adopters” opens on November 4, and members are encouraged to join the effort by picking up a letter from the tree at the Round Rock office. Once registered, members can shop for the gifts requested in their adopted letter and return them for distribution through USPS Operation Santa. This activity allows members to participate in a hands-on way, contributing directly to the happiness of children who may otherwise go without during the holiday season.
In addition to Operation Santa, the Round Rock location is hosting a food drive in partnership with the Round Rock Area Serving Center. This nonprofit provides a variety of essential services to those in need, including food, clothing, and financial assistance for utilities, prescriptions, and other necessities.
